The CA268-R is a Two-phase Three-wire Electronic Energy Meter. It is used to measure two-phase three-wire AC active energy with rated frequency 60Hz. Its active performance complies with the technical requirements of three phase energy meter class 1 under standards of IEC62053-21. The meter is built with VDR (Varistor) that provides surge protection for lightening up to 13 kV.
The CA268-R is available with extended communication functions such as PLC, RF, RS485, enabling it to connect with a head-end server (HES) system. It offers a utility and service provider added option for AMR / AMI smart metering features.
